Aberdulais Falls
We drive into the Vale of Neath to the first of our four waterfalls at Aberdulais, which offers a unique blend of natural beauty and social history. It has long been a favourite visiting place for artists, writers and travellers.
Melincourt Falls
Next we visit Melincourt, a spectacular and beautiful, 80 feet single drop waterfall, painted by Turner in 1794.
Henrhyd Falls
We continue to our third waterfall, Henrhyd, the highest single drop waterfall in South Wales. A steep descent takes us to the foot of the waterfall from where it is possible to walk behind the cascade of water.
Blaen-y-Glyn Falls
Finally, we drive into the Brecon Beacons National Park, for a walk through the Blaen-y-Glyn waterfalls area.
Waterfalls and Caves Tour
Alternatively, combine an excursion to Melincourt and Henrhyd Falls with a visit to The National Showcaves Centre for Wales at Dan-yr-Ogof, where you can explore three spectacular limestone show caves, formed over thousands of years, with their astonishing formations of stalactites and stalagmites, flowstones and curtains. Gain an insight into cave life and archeology in the Bone Cave dating back over 3000 years to the Bronze Age. See over 50 life-size models of dinosaurs and visit the Iron Age farm and the Shire Horse Centre.
