We drive west into Carmarthenshire to visit the picturesque village of Llansteffan at the mouth of the River Towy. An optional climb up to the ruined 12th century Norman castle is rewarded with breathtaking views of the estuary and lush green rolling hills of the Welsh countryside. Or you can just take a stroll through the pretty village and along the sandy shore.
We continue west into Pembrokeshire, to the walled, seaside resort of Tenby. Explore the narrow cobbled streets lined with shops, cafes, restaurants, and many interesting features.
A variety of boat trips are usually available, or just relax on one of the town's splendid beaches.
